“ Finally got to go back to Ziggy's after a long time and they are still great. Unfortunately, they no longer have turkey burgers, but they have turkey bacon for the regular burgers. On this visit I only had their burger, but in the past I had their breakfast and both were great. Their shakes also are good. The neighborhood around Ziggy's is still pretty bad, but it has cleaned up some compared to the past. The people who work here are still very nice, but do have accents when native English speakers listen to them and so they may be hard for some to understand. The menu pics on Yelp are really dated, so I took some new ones on this trip--hope u can see them. I still recommend phoning in your order to avoid waiting for them to make your food. There are other Ziggy's locations, so try one of those if this one is not near you. They are worth a try. ”
“ Ziggy's Burgers is fusion of American meets Middle East. They offer some traditional dishes of both cultures. I decided to try the Halal Cheeseburger with Fries, which came to $18. Atmosphere is mostly quiet and has a bistro red brick vibe. Music and TV playing in the back and feels family run. Staff was friendly and professional. My cashier Mohammed was very helpful and even bussed my plate for me (even though its not full service). It's a walk-up counter to order and pay. The burger itself was pretty good. They do not ask you how you want it to be cooked but it seems to be well done (no pink) and at the same time it's very juicy. The veggies were of crisp fresh quality, not limp at all. The bun was also really good quality bread. They also use a special homemade secret sauce (not bad). The sandwich did not fall apart in my hand but still managed to be very juicy and of good quality. It honestly tasted like a burger that was made at home and I mean that in a good way. From the time I took my order it it took about 12 minutes for the food to come out. I seen other reviews and more than a few people said that the fries here were great. I agree they were pretty good. I don't think they were fresh cut fries or anything but they were cooked nicely. Crisp and golden brown. There's absolutely nothing wrong with this place because the setting and the food and the service are completely satisfactory. In order for me to get five stars I feel like it would have to be perfect though. The only thing that they could have done to make this perfect was to switch to fresh cut fries instead of frozen. 4.5 out of 5 burger joint. ”
“ Stumbled across this restaurant in the embarcadero area. The layout is nice, the staff are attentive, and the food is really good and fresh! We ordered a fried chicken sandwich, fries, and a chicken shawarma sandwich. Super yummy and will be coming back!!!! ”
“ I love burgers and one of the best burgers with turkey bacon I ever have had was at Ziggy's! Ziggy's burgers are a must. Thank you for being my go to in S.F. and for creating a great and convenient space! And the staff and service is excellent! ”
“ Was staying at the hotel across the street and needed a quick bite, so a burger fit the bill. I went with a standard cheeseburger, fries, and can of coke. The burger itself was good, good bun, and fresh veggies. The sauce and some extra mayo saved the burger for me, although it was a juicy burger. Definitely grab napkins. The fries reminded me of a better version of in n out fries, but definitely need to salt to taste. I spent $25 for a burger, fries, and coke after tax, fees, and tip. I think it's a serviceable burger and will satisfy the burger fix, especially if it's walking distance and in need of a quick meal. ”
“ So good I came back for takeout! Can't say enough about this place- clean, great food and very friendly staff! Keep up the great job, guys! ”
“ Haven't been here since a couple years before the pandemic! It's not amazing and it's not terrible but it opens late (compared to the surrounding restaurants) and does the job! I'd give this place a 3.5. I ordered the chicken strips which came with fries, hummus, and two types of salads. The chicken strips were a little overdone so it was dryer on the outside. They were also a little too salty. It's coated in breadcrumbs that did cut my tongue and the roof of my mouth because it was hard from being overfried. Who would have thought - a chicken strip weapon! I could use this thing to fight if I needed to haha. My partner got the fish and chips - super tasty! Fries, overall, were okay bc they were probably sitting under a heat lamp or something. They were kinda warm but not crispy - I need it to burn my tongue ya know? (My poor tongue...) Anyway, if I'm the area and need food at night when everything else is closed, I'd probably still come here. ”
